UPDATE: Allows opening app without PW even after signing out of Ancestry and Ancestry DNA. Displays old profile avatar after changing it... months ago. . And yes, you should let me send messaged in the app for what I paid. . Previous review: Uh-- takes for ever and ever to load.

I know my Grandparents on my moms family were both German. My great grandmother couldn’t speak English only German. Yet my DNA doesn’t show Any German how can this be. Also list a Jeffery Hurt as a child but he is my son-in-law not blood relation. What a crock 😡

Although I have minor criticisms of the app such as the overall high price point and the fact that the optional +$19.99 for “additional info” about your traits is kind of a rip off (there’s about 5-10 traits covered, very few of which you need a test for)... I’m very glad to have been connected with my biological relatives via the app... I was talking to my parents within two days of receiving my test and now have a great relationship with them in addition to my adoptive parents. :) I’m thrilled.

I payed for your service, now you,ve made it impossible to open. Stop with all the padlocks. Make the app accessible to the user. Open my app or refund my money.
  • Huge database...but disappointing for East Asia

It was great to find all the information for my European side. But for anyone looking for anything in East Asia, I’d go with 23&Me. Ancestry DNA lumps Korea in with ALL of Northern China. Understandably, much of Korea’s history comes from Manchuria. But it’s a huge area and something a bit more specific would have been preferred.

IF YOU HAVEN'T DONE THIS DO IT. IT'S THE BEST MONEY I'VE EVER SPENT AND I AM NOT WHAT I THOUGHT I WAS AND I AM WHAT I THOUGHT I WAS LOL. YOU WILL FIND STUFF YOU DIDN'T KNOW CAUSE IT TELLS YOU WHERE YOU'RE BLOOD STARTED NOT WHERE SOME WAS BORN. IF YOU UNDERSTAND THAT.
