    Great game
  • Daily Challenge Change

    By Cvbxya
I still HATE the toffee Fair. I have completed most of the squares but cannot finish since I will NOT spend money to buy hammers and switch hands. None of my partners have tried at all. BRING BACK THE DAILY CHALLENGE. Wish I could give it 0 stars. I used to give it 4. You had a great game and I played it a lot and yes I bought things some. Now you want us to spend big bucks. I hope you bring the challenges back soon or I will uninstall the game. I hate that you took away the daily challenge. It was the only way to earn helpful items like color bombs, extra candy stuff that helps you win levels. Now you can only do one square a day and earn nothing. Seems like a ploy to make us pay to play. No more. I will not pay to play this game. If the daily challenge is no more, neither am I. It seems most of your players hate the new toffee Fair. Bring back the daily challenges.

This is my all-time favorite iPhone game app!
  • Hate The New Changes

They eliminated all the special bonuses and now there is this stupid Mr. Toffee board where you are teamed up with two other players that might not ever even play. Levels are harder to beat...they are designing it so that you have to buy extras in order to pass any levels. Walking away until they change it back.
  • Last Minute Bars

    By Merobuha
When the Bubble Gum trail appears and you pass all five levels near the end of the available time, 6 lollipops are added, but gold bars never accumulate- even if I complete the levels 30 minutes before time is up and can’t return to “retake the throne” yet. I’d love it if you could fix that.

This review will probably be hidden by the developers, but this game is still the same crap it has always been. All it is, is a money trap to get you to make micro transactions and spend the amount of money you would on a real game. They just repeat the same 4 level designs over and over, but to make it seem challenging have an algorithm that won’t let you pass a level unless you pay more money. Or spend over a week of your life to pass. I unfortunately got sucked in and wasted too much of my money on a game that has no skill involved in it. You will eventually pass levels, but only when the horrible algorithm that the programmers wrote allows you to. Don’t worry, every once in awhile you will pass multiple levels. But you will spend most your time sitting on the same level for over a week. Unless you spend way more money than this game will be ever worth.

  • Game can’t get online since last “update”

    By Gailinuc
I play this game every day and often in one. Since the apparent last update I haven't been able to purchase anything during the game, for a special op. How to fix that?? I’m online, everything else is online ... what’s the game waiting for? And, I’ve spent quite a lot of money for nothing, as well. I keep swearing it off, since they’re all designed to make you need to spend to win. It’s opportunistic, to say the least, but a great way to make money. My bad for letting myself take any game that seriously! But shame on you for exploitation of a human being. It all comes back around so ... look for your lesson on this, and learn it, not send it back out.

I’ve played for years, but it’s just not fun anymore. The upper levels are impossible to beat unless you spend a lot of money. I deleted the app today. Just not worth it anymore. The game is obviously rigged to make you spend money and I’ve spent my fair share. No fun anymore. Don’t get roped in to this scam.
  • Yet another easy King game

    By Dirty_Nurse_Halo
3205 levels complete, over 1,100 gold bars currently banked, $0.00 spent. With all the opportunities to obtain free boosters I will never understand how this company makes money. There's absolutely no reason to purchase anything with how frequently quests repopulate and with the prizes won via bubble gum hill. Strategic use of both free boosters and gold bars accrued from the King of the Hill mini game will make quick work of the hard levels. Highly recommended game! I love the unlimited use daily boosters the game now offers as opposed to the single ones offered before, every Friday when new levels are released I easily complete them in an hour or so without using many stored boosters; ones I do use are quickly reclaimed via BGH and quests. The recent speed boost of falling pieces is greatly appreciated! I hope they adopt this feature in all of their other games as it saves a ton of time...if only you could skip the end-of-level sequence like with vanilla CC then it would be perfect. The recent reviews about this feature are hilarious - one person even claimed it made them seasick. Seasick! From falling candy pieces on a cellphone... Nausea, dizziness, and headaches also abound from this excellent feature apparently 😂. I love reading these reviews to see the stupidity contained therein. My favorite is when players complain about “loosing” “life’s”. A close second would be all the ones who have absolutely no idea what the fish booster does when it is rather obvious that it doubles all fish. I also enjoy people that complain about the “piggy bank” and how it’s a “ripoff”, as if by beating levels they’ve “earned” gold bars for no reason. The game clearly states that it requires money to access, why many players seem to feel entitled to its contents is baffling. Like me, these people need to simply ignore its presence until it becomes possible to unlock in-game. Why anyone would pay money for a completely free game is far beyond my scope of comprehension but good for King for preying on the weak-minded! They must make millions off of these free games.
