Like so many loyal players, the last update is making me feel betrayed. I’ve always been willing to spend some money, particularly for special characters. However, I am NOT willing to have to pay money every day in order to keep happiness up. I have a life, a job that gives me the money to spend on things like games, and as I’m not a robot I require sleep to live and function. Game loft keeps saying in their live-streams that they want our input. Then why aren’t you actually listening to us? Every update we ask for more land, yet haven’t received any in ages. Every event more and more people are complaining about how they’re getting too hard (and they have been getting a lot harder lately) to complete. I agree, and I’m someone who pays for the premium characters which is supposed to make it easier. Now they’ve changed our happiness (for anyone who is currently playing, this determines how likely you are to get token drops needed for new characters/updating characters) and made it almost impossible to keep up without paying currency at a rate that will soon require me to pay money. Supposedly (from the livestream) the happiness was changed due to player suggestions. I’d buy that we requested it focus more on increasing token drops rather than magic and exp points, but no player asked you to make it almost impossible to keep the happiness up. I’m probably not going to uninstall yet, as I’m hoping the game developers really are listening to us and will make some changes. However, if nothing changes then I guess I will have to find something more relaxing and fun to do in my spare time. No point in a game causing as much or more stress in my life as my job.
  • Turned into a greedy money grab 😡

Fix the happiness meter. Add land so all the attractions you want people to work/spend money to get can be displayed.
  • Game not fun anymore

I have played this game since its release. At first it was fun and you felt like you could actually complete events (although I failed to get the last character in the 1st 2 events) with a little hard work but you didn’t feel like you HAD to spend money on it. I have watched as events have gotten harder & harder to the point where it is next to impossible to complete an event without spending money no matter how hard you work. I have kept silent because I understand that they are a company & need to make money. I have not been adverse to spending money on this game but that latest change to happiness & how quickly it drops is ridiculous. The events have become like a second job to try to complete, we get hardly any down time between events to catch up leveling characters (especially with the token changes), & now just everyday play is going to start to feel like a job just trying to keep your happiness up. I have enjoyed this game but at this point I am seriously considering deleting it due to it becoming more difficult to play for normal who while can spend a little bit of money, can’t drop a ton of it in a game.
  • Horrible Updates

This latest happiness update has ruined the game for me. It makes it nearly impossible to move forward in the game unless you’re willing to sacrifice sleep, work or any sort of life whatsoever. I’m gonna give it a few more days but unless they resolve the issue that’s upsetting most of their customers, I’m going to be deleting the app.
  • Money Grab & Time Consuming...

I used to enjoy this game, and would spend the occasional bit of real money on it, but no longer. It’s literally turned into nothing but a money grab and they’ve just sucked all the enjoyment out of the game. The events are too close together. The last event was completely impossible to finish without spending real money, and still almost impossible if you did. The latest update regarding ‘happiness’ levels is a joke. You cannot keep levels up without being on constantly. I slept for just 6 hours and lost 110% in happiness levels. I stayed with the lack of land, I stayed with the ridiculous token rebalancing (for no obvious reasons, just a promise of ‘you’ll like it’), but this is the last straw. Be Prepared To Spend Money!!

I have been playing this game for 815 days and at first it was a fun game. Now it is nothing but a money grab! It’s difficult even if you’re able to log in hourly during the day and every other hour during sleep. Impossible if you have a job or like to sleep. It’s become very difficult to get through the challenges even for those who have all characters max level. If you’re looking for a new game, this isn’t it. It’s literally impossible for a new player to compete with long term players and would cost thousands of real money dollars to catch up. Beware this game!
  • Great game, but...

Since this update, the happiness meter drops way too fast, with very few wishes to raise it. I hope this is a glitch and will be fixed. At this rate, there will be no way to ever reach 99% ecstatic, not to mention keep it there to get better token drops, which I was able to do before the update.
  • Why???

I used to love this game cause Disney fan, but why did they have to make the happiness drop so much??? I don’t go on for a few hours and it’s down to like 20%. Not cool. Events are way too hard in the time given and I don’t have the money to keep dropping it on this game. Ridiculous.
  • Just a money grab

The game has changed over the last two years. It was ok. The limits get pushed each time to spend more time in the game and pushing to pay money. The financial incentive was always there, but it seems they are just pushing it further each event to manipulate the money harder. I can only assume it is trying to have a better quarter each quarter, which will eventually crash. Personally I think they could have had a long term profit, but with the way they are going, it will crash. Many loyal players are fed up. They scrub comments off of their page that have complaints. They also keep pushing people to buy things that there is not enough room for in the game. Some elements that people have bought or earned need to be stored away because of their lack of planning to fit every main attraction. And instead of spending a good chunk of time to address that, they push for another event to make more money and for people to get more attractions they don’t have the room for.

This game has become a huge time sink since it was first released. There was an easyness about it and it was really fun unlocking all of the characters. But with each update comes a newer feature where you have to be checking in more and more throughout the day/night just to try and get ahead in the game. If you sleep at night you will not really advance anymore. Obviously same thing if you work. Their latest jab at the DMK community is taking away the “happiness” in the game and not giving you a way to keep up properly. It’s the straw that has broken the camels back for me. If you have the time to check in every 1-2 hours this game isn’t bad, but we all have to sleep and work at some point in the day/night.
