  • The most expensive free game ever

Do not download. This is worse than gambling. You give them money to maybe win a prize. The prizes are bad or broken. Customer service can’t help with anything.
  • If you want to play sim city with star ships.

    By Anyone555
Not a very interesting game. The advertisement shows ships flying through space fighting a great battle. Nothing close. It is basically sim city using starships. You chart a course, push the button, sit back and wait to arrive. You then can attack or make nice. Then chart course, push button, sit back wait to arrive. Rinse and repeat. Like most games NMS is a long endless road. In App purchase will build your fleet. Playing this game is like taking a 14 hr international flight, boring and takes forever.
  • Worse Star Trek game ever! And that’s saying something!

    By UD_007
I would give this game no stars but Apple will not allow it. P2W at its worst. I quit the game as you cannot advance without paying. The price for in-game purchases is crazy expensive. The game is an Internet trolls paradise. People will pay big money to advance their ships so they can attack you and “warp” away or destroy your station for fun. I will never forgive CBS, Paramount or J.J. Abrams for allowing Scopely for using Star Trek and their fans this way. I cannot believe this game is for ages four and up, I’ve seen unbelievably racist, hateful and obscene discussions on the games public chat and I am by no means a prude.
  • Awesome Game

Would have given 5 stars however there are a lot of mining sites that need to be fixed and also I’m a level 18 I can’t attack anything below a 15 and not strong enough for over 19. Players that are as high as 25 have attacked me. Fix these bugs and I would give 5 stars Update: serious issues. I’m a level 20 I cannot attack lower than a 16. However levels 25 and higher can come attack me at anytime that’s so not fair. DO NOT spend money on this game unless you plan on keeping a shield up all the time. If you do not they will take everything you just paid for. Signed FED UP
  • So buggy

    By Dan0686
Most recent “update” has my game crashing every 20 seconds... impossible to start a task or complete one! Like many other people have mentioned the materials required to build/research are FAR to high to keep in reserve after level 18. There weren’t as many crashes prior to this “update” if they figure something out I’d change my review to at most 3 stars.
  • Expensive and tedious

    By PtolomyTortoise
This game started out to be really fun. There are a few things that make it really difficult to continue playing enjoyably. The game economy is out of whack. It takes hours to mine a few thousand of a single resource. At any time in that process, any ship can come by and destroy your miner in 3 seconds. You lose all progress you made in mining, even if you’re 5 seconds away from filling your ship. People can’t park on a spot and watch their ship for hours constantly. There is no warning or notification that your ship is coming under attack. Ships are insanely expensive to upgrade. If you’re doing free play, it’ll take weeks to do a single upgrade on your ship because of the uncommon resources you need. Your station is easily defeated and expensive to repair. A single miner is able to destroy 3 of your ships defending your station, as well as the station, not only taking hundreds of thousands of resources (20+hrs of work), as well as repair costs (equivalent of about $50), in under 3 seconds, with no notice. The game is just not fun anymore. It’s too expensive to make real progress, and the way pvp works is terrible. This game is very much designed as a pay to play, and an expensive one at that. Single research upgrades cost upwards of $100 each, single ship upgrades the same (consider there are about 7 per ship). Even if you’re a “grinder” you’ll find this game to be insanely cumbersome and tedious. It’s designed to be pay to play, and it shows.
  • Bugs... lots of ‘em

    By Great app and rewards
This game had a lot of potential. However, my joy and love for what could be a great game isn’t enough to save it. Bug after bug. I have sent trouble tickets to the developers and am answered with basically “we know about this bug, there is nothing we can do, just wait longer and see if it gets fixed” as they laugh their way to the bank with the little bit of in-game purchases I did make. What is really funny is I would be willing to make more purchases if they could fix simple things like every time I click on a Klingon ship, my game crashes. Or, I log off for a few minutes, log back on, and all three of my ships are destroyed and back at my base without a battle report. Annoying. I’ve almost completely given up on this game. They have about a week to get it right before I dump it for something else.

This game can not function unless you spend $100+ now. You will not be able to maintain your base, build any ship, nor retain any of your materials, as people who have already paid into the system rape and pillage your bases for fun. After non-optional PVP system kicks in, there are malicious players that look for any low-level targets, and will spend hours attack you over and over until you’re left with nothing, not even the materials to repair your base. This game promotes theft and this pillaging, and not even the money you’ve spent is safe, because there are people who have already outspent you, and your so called ‘safe storage’ is anything but. This game is a waste of time and money, and should be avoided at all costs. And don’t even think of asking for support, they don’t exist, and couldn’t care less of the piracy going on in their game. Just save your time and money - this game is an utter waste.
  • Crashes

Have given up on playing this game. Every time I sign to play after about three minutes of play it crashes. I’ve put up with but finally had enough and deleted it.
  • Mugging Online!

    By Renllaw
Loved this game. There was lots to do, plenty to explore. Mining is tedious and designed to provoke conflict. It’s a war game so you take that in stride under the false hope that you too will be able to advance to defend yourself one day. Then around level 15, you find you are ahead of the curve on quests and cannot move forward on many till you level up like four levels to progress, all your quests are like ultra hard level 19 & 20. You feel the bite to spend some cash in order to advance. So you drop a little coin. Why not, it’s been fun so far and the dev team really deserves a little support. Then within hours of your first purchase, some high level scum bag comes in, attacks you and takes all the resources you just bought (with real cash) before you can do anything with it. The game is basically a virtual mugging. I actually was prepared to spend money on this game, but Not another dime! Game needs some serious balancing for quests, there’s no ability to transfer servers to align with friends, there’s no alignment to any sort of combat tiers, it’s basically a virtual prison yard shanking.
