Description

NEW! It’s time to interact with your Pokémon like never before—Pokémon GO has recently introduced GO Snapshot! Taking AR photos is a snap with this easy-to-use update. You’re now able to take photos of any Pokémon you have in your collection. Document your adventures by taking photos of your favorite Pokémon to share with friends or as a memento of your epic journey. Join Trainers across the globe who are discovering Pokémon as they explore the world around them. Pokémon GO is the global gaming sensation that has been downloaded over 850 million times and named "Best Mobile Game" by The Game Developers Choice Awards and "Best App of the Year" by TechCrunch. Venusaur, Charizard, Blastoise, Pikachu, and many other Pokémon have been discovered! Pokémon are out there, and you need to find them. As you walk around a neighborhood, your smartphone will vibrate when there’s a Pokémon nearby. Take aim and throw a Poké Ball… You’ll have to stay alert, or it might get away! Search far and wide for Pokémon and items Certain Pokémon appear near their native environment—look for Water-type Pokémon by lakes and oceans. Visit PokéStops and Gyms—found at interesting places like museums, art installations, historical markers, and monuments—to stock up on Poké Balls and helpful items. Catching, hatching, evolving, and more As you level up, you’ll be able to catch more-powerful Pokémon to complete your Pokédex. You can add to your collection by hatching Pokémon Eggs based on the distances you walk. Help your Pokémon evolve by catching many of the same kind. Choose a Buddy Pokémon to walk with and earn Candy that will help you make your Pokémon stronger. Compete in epic Gym battles You’ll join one of three teams and battle for the ownership of Gyms with your Pokémon at your side. As your Charmander evolves to Charmeleon and then Charizard, you can battle together to defeat a Gym and assign your Pokémon to defend it against all comers. Team up to defeat powerful Raid Bosses A Raid Battle is a cooperative gameplay experience that encourages you to work with up to 20 other Trainers to defeat an extremely powerful Pokémon known as the Raid Boss. If you succeed in defeating it in battle, you’ll have the chance to catch an extra powerful Pokémon of your own! It’s time to get moving—your real-life adventures await! I downloaded this game awhile ago and it was ok but now you can battle trainers it’s amazing the only thing I would like is to have a breeding system so you can breed your vulpix for like 30 candy and some star dust and then you walk like you do with eggs I don’t know if this would be added but if it is you have my 5 star
  • Stopped Tracking Distance & No Customer Support

Ever since the last update, the game no longer registers the distances I walk, even with the game open and adventure sync on. I tried contacting support, but you can only submit a report to a bot. No guarantee is offered anyone will read my concern.

The game had a difficult start and didn’t work at first, then a buddy of mine asked me to download it again and I obliged only to find out that the developers are the most lazy bunch ever as the won’t change any research breakthroughs or anything of any importance. Their only using the name of Pokémon to fuel their own greed. I actually considered paying real money into this game because I grew up with the original Pokémon, but How many times now have I caught latias and latios?!?!? Too many times to count. And I can’t stand those two to begin with. I played the original Pokémon and only care about the first generation, the following three generations the creators didn’t even try. Literally. And now If they won’t change anything to make it more immersive or gratifying then what’s the point in playing if you keep getting the exact same thing as before over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again no matter how much research you complete or how hard you try. Deleting this catastrophe before it causes my blood pressure to rise more than it already has. Good riddance. I would give this less than zero stars if I could, negative 5 stars all the way. I will only change my review if the developers change their ways and I hear that things are different. And that still doesn’t cover all the glitches and bugs that continually pop up causing it to crash several times before its even able to work properly. If it’s your job to code games and program this kinda stuff, then at least do your job and do it right, instead of crossing your fingers and hoping for the best like the rest of the world.
  • Review - loss of enthusiasm at higher levels.

Sadly, as the levels get higher the challenge is not so much skill, but endurance. 1million points is such a high number that it’s easy to lose enthusiasm- which I have. Maybe significantly higher points for skill? Or drop the million points.

Ever since updating my iPhone to iOS 12.3, adventure sync has stopped working. I ended up downgrading to 12.2 to get this important feature back. Once it has been fixed, I will update my review.
